I dont see why people are complaining about this new free-to-play model, it’s less intrusive and can be really beneficial for all parties involved. Think about it, loads of games out there are now free to play, but when you buy them you are already playing for free (or pay for stuff that you wouldnt buy if not being able to play the game at no charge).
The whole concept behind this is to be able to offer free, high quality content to you so you dont have to buy anything if you dont want to. If it’s free and doesnt consist of ads, then you will always want to play the game and explore for yourself.
It’s a big change from the old way of doing things, but overall I think it’s a great move, thats one of the very few things EA has done right with the F2P model.

Good point from SimGM, I would like to clarify on that, it means that you wont be forced to pay for items/exp/etc as it’s designed from the ground up to work this way, it’s not a game where you need to spend thousands of dollars to experience the whole game.
If you’re not able to enjoy the game for free, then perhaps you need to spend the time to fix that instead of whining about the change. I used to use an old and cheap FTP program at work that I called FTP (more annoying than ugly). I could browse the marketplace and purchase legit FTP items. I’d call that F2P.
The point is that you have to do a lot of research and experimentation to learn what’s good and what’s not. Today, there are many great options for testing games, both in terms of those that are free and those that are not free.

Another day, another Roblox blog post. I didn’t post anything for a few months, but I’ve got some exciting news to share. So let’s get started.
