3. Character Creation

Character Creation
The character creation process includes a battle background, character class, name, appearance, equipment and skills.

To create a character:
1. Select a Battle Background.
• Battle Backgrounds are the story background of your character in the Lands Between.
2. Select the Class and Name of your character.
3. Set Character Slots
• The Character Slots allow you to assign a Unique Level for your character.
4. Set an Appearance
• The Appearance settings are used to customize the appearance of your character.
5. Select Equipment
• The equipment is a list of items that you can use to customize your character.
6. Define Skills
• As with the equipment, the Skills are a list of items that you can use to customize your character.

Battle Background
The Battle Backgrounds are not only the story background of your character, they are also the characters of the NPCs that you will encounter in the game. The Battle Backgrounds indicate the three primary areas of your character’s personality: his/her profession, emotions, and beliefs. The relationship between your Battle Background and the class determines your character’s alignment in the story.
Character Class
When you create a character, your character will start the game with 3 levels in the character class. You can gain additional levels by completing daily quests or through special events called Character Growth Quest Stones.
Classes
The classes are your means of developing a character. Along with the Battle Backgrounds, the classes determine your character’s alignment in the story. The major classes are:
• The Warrior: A strong character to assist you on the battlefield.
• The Knight: A brave character to support you in battle.
• The Rogue: A trickster with cunning and illusions to oppose you.
• The Hunter: A hunter with a sharp eye and charm to follow you.
• The Mage: A powerful character to dispel monsters with his spells.
• The Leader: A person you can’t beat, a person you can only talk to.
• The Servant: A valorous person with a proud face and braves to follow you.
• The Temerast: An emerald ring character with a lovely face and hot-headed.
