Repair scratches and tears in your photos
While it’s true that you can use Photoshop to repair scratches and tears in your images, Elements has a handy tool for this purpose, too.
If you’ve ever opened an image in Elements and it’s covered with scratches, patches or tears, the quick fix tool will fix them in a few seconds.
To fix scratches, patches and tears with the quick fix tool, select one of the features you want to repair. Press the Spacebar to select.

An epidemic of melioidosis (Burkholderia pseudomallei) occurred on Kodiak Island in March 1984. A sensitive assay was used to screen a population of blood donors who had melioidosis-like illness. The investigators measured the time to development of bacteraemia (symptoms of a melioidosis infection) in these donors and compared the proportion of donors who developed bacteraemia during winter with that during summer. No seasonal effect was found in proportions of blood donors with post-transfusion purpura (PTP), septicaemia or bacteraemia. The numbers of blood donors with PTP were too small for a definitive answer.

For example, you can reduce a layer to a single point; you can merge layers; or you can resize or drag them around. The Layers panel also has several useful tools and buttons.
The Type tool lets you create words, logos, type effects, and callouts. The Type tool can also create an outline of text. It has several different tools that you can use to create letter styles, tints, styles, and type faces.
The Crop tool lets you remove unwanted parts from an image. You can use it to crop, resize, or turn an image sideways or portrait-style.
The Magic wand tool lets you locate an object in an image and makes it into a selection. You can then use the Brush tool to apply an effect to it. You can change how the selection is made, how it is colored and how it handles. You can make adjustments to the selection and use the Quick Selection tool to make it easier.
You can use the Brush tool to fill an image with a specified brush. There are several brush types including: a matte, a gradient, an airbrush, a stipple, a pattern and a dark and light pattern. You can also use the Eraser tool to erase a color or a path. You can use a color, an adjustment layer, a layer mask, a layer style, or a stroke to change the color, blend, or fill an area.
