ClickFont (ClickFont Fonts) is a professional font management program designed to enable the user to manage TrueType fonts with just two mouse clicks. In a nutshell, ClickFont copies all the fonts in a directory, converts fonts to the format expected by the OS, puts them in a proper place, and registers them with a system call to be used in the operating system. ClickFont is designed to run within the Windows shell, so it is truly independent of the OS and you do not need to give up shell use.

ClickFont is a free utility for Windows. It allows you to install TrueType fonts and with a simple right-click on a font or folder, you can install multiple fonts at once.
All the fonts on your computer are registered after the install, so that they appear automatically in the system without the need of additional configuration.
You can then browse the fonts and select a font to be used.

The file permissions for a font folder must allow read/write access on the system by the ClickFont user.

ClickFont installs the fonts and registers them automatically. The fonts are installed in a subfolder on the same location where ClickFont is installed. The default location is at %UserProfile%\AppData\Fonts. ClickFont shows the list of installed fonts and the names of the fonts, which are installed in the selected directory.

So, I am trying to save some data into an options page and then I want to be able to view this data when I load up that option page.
The way I have it set up now looks like this:

Win32 Personal Review:

ClickFont worked well under WinXP and Win7. I have tested it under Win7 and Win8, but no major problems were reported (or for that matter fixed).I found it fast and intuitive. I liked that you could display the folders and files which were registered as TrueType fonts. However, this did not work with OpenType fonts.

That’s for Win7 and Win8. For WinXP, you have to install the 3.x version of ClickFont for this to work.Note: For WinXP, the.exe file will install the fonts only if the system runs as admin. The folder with the font registration files are not copied to the computer, because this is not allowed on WinXP. To get around this, it’s recommended to use the command line with the copy option: copy /Y “%temp%\*.reg” “%appdata%\ClickFont\true”This command will copy the files to the data folder. However, you need admin rights for this. I’ve attached a link to the manual of “true” to help you with the setup.

ClickFont also works with the latest Win7 which was released in 2009.

I didn’t test it with all the systems’ versions of the TrueType Registry Editor that are floating around, but it works fine.
