ClickFont (ClickFont Fonts) is a professional font management program designed to enable the user to manage TrueType fonts with just two mouse clicks. In a nutshell, ClickFont copies all the fonts in a directory, converts fonts to the format expected by the OS, puts them in a proper place, and registers them with a system call to be used in the operating system. ClickFont is designed to run within the Windows shell, so it is truly independent of the OS and you do not need to give up shell use.

New features since 0.0.8:
– Improved the font location dialog. ClickFont has now the ability to detect the location of fonts.
– ClickFont has the ability to use the selected font, even if it is not installed.
– ClickFont can now install multiple fonts

Saving data to options page and launching it afterwards to view that data

So, I am trying to save some data into an options page and then I want to be able to view this data when I load up that option page.
The way I have it set up now looks like this:
My options page has a checkbox:
var option = new SC.View(
‘My Option’,
onReady: function(target, view, data){

data.toggleState = target.get(‘toggleState’);
//SC.log(“data.toggleState = ” + data.toggleState);

Win32 Personal Review:

ClickFont worked well under WinXP and Win7. I have tested it under Win7 and Win8, but no major problems were reported (or for that matter fixed).I found it fast and intuitive. I liked that you could display the folders and files which were registered as TrueType fonts. However, this did not work with OpenType fonts.

That’s for Win7 and Win8. For WinXP, you have to install the 3.x version of ClickFont for this to work.Note: For WinXP, the.exe file will install the fonts only if the system runs as admin. The folder with the font registration files are not copied to the computer, because this is not allowed on WinXP. To get around this, it’s recommended to use the command line with the copy option: copy /Y “%temp%\*.reg” “%appdata%\ClickFont\true”This command will copy the files to the data folder. However, you need admin rights for this. I’ve attached a link to the manual of “true” to help you with the setup.

ClickFont also works with the latest Win7 which was released in 2009.

I didn’t test it with all the systems’ versions of the TrueType Registry Editor that are floating around, but it works fine.

ClickFont Manual – True:

About True™:
True is a utility for registering fonts installed in the system folders as TrueType. Most people will not be familiar with TrueType. True is a proprietary font file format that Microsoft introduced in 1994 in its Windows NT operating system. A TrueType font file contains outline points for the letters in a font. Many people use TrueType fonts and don’t know it.

True is used today when installing Windows fonts. If the font is not registered as TrueType, the system will not know how to handle it. In some cases, you may be able to install fonts that are not TrueType-registered when you need them to be registered so that the system can display them properly. The registry keys are: “HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Fonts” and
