In A Way Out, you play as a killer who is on a quest to escape hell.
The story of the game is about how to survive in a world where you have only pain and death to protect you.
How does the killer survive? First, he kills. Lots of people. In A Way Out, you will kill over a thousand of different people during your journey to get out of Hell. You will be given loads of different possibilities to play with – from seducing pretty babes to blowing up demons, you can use a wide range of weapons to kill and explore different options.
A Way Out is a good game. It has the potential to be better.
There are some situations in the game that are really unsatisfying and I am left to wonder if the developers had a different vision about what kind of game that would be.
For example, let’s say I want to visit another area that requires specific equipment that was dropped by one of the characters that are already dead. In other games, you usually just leave the dead character and come back later, so you can visit them without spoiling the mystery. In A Way Out, the game informs you that the character is dead. There is no option to visit him or her later and the main character has no plans to kill any more characters. You are left to wonder if the designers intended to keep people from visiting dead characters once they have their hands on the equipment.
To be fair, the developers are not trying to force people to visit all of the dead characters, it was something that they decided to put in the game. Yet, the designers have to know that it is a bad idea to make the game feel like a prison to keep people playing. This is because, eventually, you will have to skip all of the dead characters and leave the game to progress further. The developers could have just not put the requirement into the game, but they opted to make a nonsensical requirement that, in the end, makes no sense.
On the other hand, it is great that you are not forced to kill all of the people that are killed in the game. For the most part, you can skip every single person that you kill, which makes the game feel very different from other games that force you to kill everyone in order to progress.
It would be weird if a majority of the game was about killing everyone and the game did not give any reason to kill them. The game makes sense

A Pleasurably Painful Way to Break In Steam’s Big Picture Mode.
Inventive, endlessly inventive, They Bleed Pixels won’t hold your hand and will let you construct your own fun while attempting to make it through the 30 levels. If you get stuck on a level (and you will, because you can’t let the cute pixel people die) there is always a handy screen shot to look at to guide you.
What Makes It Great:
You play an amnesiac pixel-like protagonist who wakes up to discover that he’s the only survivor of a cosmic ship crash. Turns out he’s part of a quest to chase down some eggs. For some reason he’s wearing a tuxedo, though, and his tuxedo hangs open to reveal that this tuxedo isn’t his tuxedo at all.
At first the controls might seem a bit unorthodox. It certainly looks awkward at first, but once you figure it out and get the hang of it, it’s actually a lot of fun. I got through the game without ever having to use the mouse; instead, the gamepad has four virtual joysticks and a directional pad which you’re supposed to use to move your character and jump with. Oh, and there’s a single button to fire your laser gun.
This is, basically, a lesson in how you control movement in the game. You can, of course, pick up a buddy to help you out, but you’ll have to think hard about how to use him right. There’s a tutorial and the controls are easy to figure out, but they could be even easier. They’re easy enough to figure out that I found myself doing a lot of unintentional double-jumping, but that can be fun as well.
There’s a lot of graphics polish, too. You can pan and zoom and there’s a whole lot of blood and guts to look at. The music is perfectly fitting and the sound effects are atmospheric. Even the menus are well done; the voice-over instructions are not only helpful but entertaining. The Verdict:
They Bleed Pixels is not only a smart, creative, gore-soaked, arcade platformer, it’s also a clever celebration of the achievements of the indie game movement. It’s worth a look.

As far as the general public are concerned, most Australian fans seem to think that they get to watch MotoGP as soon as it happens in the rest of the world.
The FOM website, MotoGP.com, shows that the MotoGP TV channel is on in all the countries of the world with the exception of Australia.
The subscription is not cheap. At $US70 or $AUD80 per year, it seems excessive, however there is a $US7 USD ‘local fee’ for anyone wanting to subscribe to the FOM channel.
In Australia, some people have set up their own internetTV streams to catch Australian MotoGP, a Google Freetime VOD service, like the Brazilians, is easy and free to get involved, and there are groups of Australians who go to each Grand Prix for free, including the official ‘free’ fan club (Vodafone ever come up with some better marketing?)
There are also free mobile programs that you can download off the iTunes store, mobile versions of the F1 TV channels, and a variety of unofficial fan channels, known as SpeedHD and Moto Fan TV.
That’s just for those of a younger generation, although with the risk of opening yourself up to a barrage of fine tuned and focussed internet advertising, when 20-somethings are watching the latest F1 races and say, “Mate, I’m spending way too much time indoors”, there is a temptation to check if there is anything new worth watching.
SpeedHD is a good choice. Whatever the story, GAVIN et al (and includes the bright and beautiful, Sonya Gali (carry on Sonya!) from this year’s MotoGP) seem to punch the buttons of a multitude of peoples feet. That’s a lot of speed, and if at 4.30am it’s a bit slack (sorry Phillip), it can be a long cup of coffee, and some caffeine, before the next sun up.
GordeeGee, Australia has it’s own challenges, and hurdles. Can you imagine the amount of man hours it must have been to create the 1 hr and 40 mins of F1 TV broadcast? The amount of technology and talent it takes. I accept though, that after a cruelly long break, tech just seems to get better
