Lands Between

Evil spirits roam the Lands Between. Fearing that spirits would cause the mortality of the humans who once lived there, the Elden Lords lived among them, protecting the living world and sustaining the human life. However, the results of this protection were disastrous, and a great drought began to afflict the Lands Between. A spirit that the Elden Lords accidentally let into the World Between has unleashed the Great Disease and men and women have been perishing by the thousands.

Destruction in the Lands Between has reached the point where there is no hope. Many of the residents of the Lands Between are on the brink of death, and a tall and savage monster known as the Beast has begun to appear.

As the Beast has begun to kill humans indiscriminately, the Elden Lords have been undertaking a final battle to restore the Lands Between.

Character Creation.

Birth, Access to the World Between, Growth

Birth.You are sent to the World Between during a time of great danger by your name, and your mission is to prevent the outbreak of a disaster.

You were born as a human, but the Elder Gods have chosen you as a person who will aid in the redemption of the world. In the Lands Between, you will grow to form a bond with spirits and gather wisdom, and through these experiences, you will become an Elden Lord.

Access to the World Between.Upon graduating from the Foundations of Ageingskills, you will be assigned to a task force in the World Between to prevent a disaster.

You can teleport to the World Between once a day, and your teleportation is not subject to distance. The World Between appears when you are within three squares.

If a disaster is imminent, you will be assigned an emergency task force and be able to enter the World Between much more frequently.

Cultivation.In the World Between, you acquire four ranks of Ageing skill that correspond to the four elements and will manifest various skills. You can manage each rank in accordance with the rank of the element.

One of the above skills, “Cerebus (Battle)”, is a skill that increases your damage, granting you resistance to certain types of attack.

In addition to the four above skills, you also acquire a second skill when you progress with the Ageing system.
