This is the official DLC for PAYDAY 2, a game developed by publisher Starbreeze Studios and available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Set in an open world inspired by real-life events, PAYDAY 2 features a dynamic new game engine that makes for intense and rewarding gameplay and a detailed narrative that brings the original story to life.
Players can expect realistic weapons and environments, different characters, roles and objectives, four-player co-op on the same computer, online play and more.
As a heister, the player will choose from a series of diversions, such as armed robbery, drug trafficking, car jacking or hacking a bank or casino. Gather friends and work together to accomplish different objectives, including defending a hack, robbing a vault and confronting a guard. Hacking cars and dealing drugs is also available for those who want to go straight to the money, but if the crew wants to take the money but not leave a trace, armed robbery is the way to go.
At the start of every mission, players can choose a specific heister based on a given diversion and can bring in friends to compliment their team. The more loot the players take, the more equipment they can unlock. Players can customize their heisters with masks, scarves, gloves, more weapons and more, letting them give their heister a personalized touch.

•Open world game design – Players experience a living, open world that features a variety of activities and exciting missions as they run, bike, drive and otherwise navigate the vast landscape. The game world offers a huge amount of options and opportunities for players. The world is dense, with missions and activities intersecting in unexpected ways. Players use various vehicles and tools as they attempt to accomplish the mission objectives.
•The Heist – A branching narrative where players participate in an actual heist and as the crew completes the mission, they keep the money to satisfy the financial demands of their crew and pay off the people who risk their lives to help them out.
•Heist Case – As the heist progresses and money is collected, each player receives a bonus case and the money is distributed as a percentage of the heist to each player. With money comes more equipment, giving the players the chance to customize their heisters further. Each player gets to choose how their case is spent; their reward can then be invested in new equipment, heisters, and more.
•Explosions – While driving, biking or on foot

In PAYDAY 2: Armored Transport, players are tasked with carrying out a heist on the streets of the nation’s capital. The objective is to rob a series of armored cars at different locations across Washington D.C., keeping the money and valuables safe from the cops. Each of the 6 heists takes place in a different area of Washington D.C., located in Federal Triangle, Chinatown, Old Town, the White House area, St. Elizabeths Hospital and Potomac Park, with each level being a main hub to transport between locations and complete mission tasks. The gameplay and level design will be the same as in PAYDAY 2, with individual missions being available, either randomly when robbed or to be unlocked by buying various cosmetic items.
How to Play The Players will be the team of 4 who rob the armored transports. The players will play through a series of missions, only available to those that are completed with a predefined friend group. Each of the 4 players is able to choose a specific role. One of the players is in charge of searching for the transport, driving the transport, letting the other three players choose a specific point in the map that is the exit/ entrance to the armored transport. The second player is responsible for covering the front, but can also choose between the rear of the transport or the cap. The third player will be responsible for the rear, also having the option of covering either the front or back. The final player of the team will be the one to enter the transport in order to start the heist. The players will have to work together as a team to manage the transport, either by putting them in reverse in order to escape and lose the cops or by choosing to make a fast but dangerous escape. Everyone will have to deal with unexpected situations while on the road, such as cars chasing the transport or being shot at. All of this means that the team needs to communicate well while playing the missions. At the end of the transport heist, the players will be able to count the cash and valuables. If all goes well, they’ll get their reward – either the cash and or the valuable from the transport. If the heist goes wrong, it’s game over and the cops will try and get their revenge. The games’ mechanics and level design are based on what PAYDAY 2 players liked about the original game, and add the most asked-for features players had in their mind. The Armored Transport is a heist that can be conducted by two players. This heist can be picked up in the truck section of the main menu, “Custom Jobs” section. Once the player picks up the job, he or she will need to read the job description to select which heist they are going to undertake. This heist involves the players taking out the target they are assigned to take out. The player will have to mark the target and then pick up the heist to proceed with the mission. The mission will not start until the mark has been placed. Once the mark has been placed the players will be tasked with stealing from a target. When the heist is completed the job will begin to count down and once the job is complete it will end. During the time the heist is running the players have a timer that will be counting down towards the target which will then cause various alarms to be triggered. Once the heist is completed it will then be displayed as a completed job that can be accessed in the “Custom Jobs” section of the main menu. Once the job has been completed the players can either access the location or retrieve the job. If the job is lost or stolen the player can get a new job.

To begin the player will need to pick up the job and read the job description. Once completed the player will need to be at the location of the heist and place the mark for the heist on the map. Once the mark has been placed the players will be transported to the location. Once at the location the players will need to jump over the security gate and retrieve the heist.
