I have an older ASP.NET WebForms application.
I have some session data, which I am saving as part of the log in process, and then I am attempting to keep this data as part of the http session in order to provide some information to other pages as this data is modified/updated.
I have in my global.asax the following:

Most of the action in the game will take place in the Battle of Britain. The campaign begins with an attack on the port city of Orkney and continues over the next 15 months across the island of Great Britain.
The campaign map is based on a series of authentic locations such as White Tosson and Inverary. The mod includes many new buildings and items, with a balance based on the actual combat encounters at the location.
Except for a couple of minor units (the Recon Air-Rifle Brigades), every unit in the campaign is an infantry unit: the British Forces and the German’s local forces (Scandanavians, Dutch, Italian, Blackshirt).
All the units have a unique rank that influences their availability, their ability and also the availability of support from the artillery and the aircraft squadrons.
Battle of Britain is all about strategy, tactics and units, which, combined with the realistic depiction of the locations, add up a historically accurate war game experience.

I’m not a horror fiend, not even close.
The first PC game that I ever purchased was Duke Nukem 3D. It was some time later in the 90s that the first horror movie I remember watching was Scream. Since then, I’ve tried to watch every single movie adaptation that came out, but found them to be almost entirely forgettable and simplistic- take Saw for instance.
Nevertheless, there’s no denying that horror games are a good deal of fun. While full-blown movies aren’t my kind of entertainment, I enjoy getting my kicks from games more. A well done horror game such as Tower of Darkness or Silent Hill 2 really does evoke some of the more powerful sensations that horror films can bring. Though Beyond:Two Souls or Dread (the worthy sibling release of FPS shooter Halo: Reach, which was to be reviewed this week) most certainly do not evoke those feelings, they are still fun experiences in their own right. So what more fun is it than to have a whole game devoted to horror?
This is precisely what reclusive genius Zakk Hazard has created with his debut game, The Deadly Spawn Soundtrack. As if trying to outdo his much-loved ATARUS, an innovative PC shooter that the developer described as “Command & Conquer meets Ghostbusters”, Zakk has decided to combine the good one with the awesome one to create a game that blends a range of fright-inducing traits. Whilst some of the results are truly awful (more on that later), there are far too many solid elements worth pointing out.
From the 2D isometric perspective of The Deadly Spawn, the highly atmospheric protagonist must explore a variety of spooky locations and interact with a colourful cast of characters in order to discover the key to survival in a slaughterhouse.
The graphics may not look stunning, but the game succeeds in capturing the perfect cinematic style. Even the directions come in the form of sound files. The commands go something like: Place camera here, zoom in this far, move here. One can almost imagine they’re playing a movie instead of playing a game.
