ABOUT KIKAKU MONOGATARI:

Kikaku Monogatari is an indie fantasy RPG that focuses on the story of the same name. It was originally released in Japan on June 30, 2018 on the PC. “Kikaku Monogatari” can be roughly translated to mean “The tale of a lost paradise”.

ABOUT “KIKAKU MONOGATARI”:

Placing the focus of the game’s story in the Lands Between, you, as a Tarnished noblewoman, follow the tale of a heroine who was once a nobleman who lived in the distant past. You see the world through the eyes of the protagonist, Ragan, who is carrying out his final mission, and his sidekick, Julio, who explores the nearby lands.

The game features beautiful visuals of a fantasy-inspired world that invites your adventure.

The music creates an atmosphere of tranquility, as it is a soundtrack that fits the atmosphere of the fantasy world.

About the demo version

The trial version of “Kikaku Monogatari” released in the 4th Entertainment Contents “4th Act” in August 2018 on the PC is a test version; it has some features that will be included in the regular version (such as character creation and the ability to enter RPG battles) in addition to part of the content from the third Act in March 2018.

About PC features

Unlike past development games, there are no restrictions in “Kikaku Monogatari”, and some features will be included in future updates that are still in development.

    Who are the characters?

    The main character is a male Elden warrior, calling himself “Tarnished”. He is a skilled sorcerer who has a lot of experience in battles against the Forsaken, and has received a great amount of experience through that. He has experienced a sudden end to his life, leaving behind his childish dream of becoming an Elden Lord, and wandered into the Lands Between. Along the way, he has met various characters and fallen in love with one of them.

    His body:

    The main character is tall and strong, with a handsome appearance. He has a muscular body, a large crest on his head, and a large scar on his left arm. He is very fast, and is very skilled with a sword and a shield. He is in his peak of physical development.

    The main character’s companions:

    There are three other Elden lords in the Lands Between. They are the Holy City’s representative, the man who rules the capital, and the elder general. They are extremely powerful and are all in their peak of physical development. Their growth stages are a bit different from the main character’s, so they all have different experiences.

    The Holy City’s representative is a man. He looks young, but has a mature attitude, and he is extremely knowledgeable. He has a strong presence and is knowledgeable and serious.

    The man who rules the capital is a man who is slightly larger than the Holy City’s representative, and he is very strong. He is bald and is serious.

    The elder general is a woman. She is somewhat severe, even though she is at her peak. She is extremely skilled and is a rival to the Holy City’s representative.

    The main character is extremely high in ability, and through the means of strength-boosting magic, he has dramatically increased his fighting power. He has an optimistic personality, but, having experienced a sudden end to his life, he is somewhat disdainful, and has lost his pride in his own life.
