If you have the Adobe Creative Suite, you can access Photoshop through Dreamweaver. In addition, the program can be found as part of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other programs that create graphics. Saving a Clicked File After you’ve edited your image, you can save your file in several formats: JPEG, GIF, TIFF, or Photoshop PSD. If you save a clicked file in the Adobe Photoshop format (PSD), you can recall the image at any time in the future by clicking the Edit button on the Format Bar. The Photoshop PSD format has many advantages over other formats, including the ability to save a version of an image that you’ve saved and recalled. You can do this by clicking on File⇒Save As. Some people even save a clicked image in the JPEG format. You can save a JPEG file the same way: You click on File⇒Save As. In both cases, Photoshop presents the Open dialog box for saving the file. With that dialog box, you can choose from many formats, including JPEG, GIF, TIFF, and Photoshop PSD. Because of the unique way in which Photoshop stores information about your image, you can view a saved file for the first time by using the open file window that appears when you click OK to the Save dialog box. After your saved file appears in the open file window, you can make changes to the image. When you close the window, you’re returned to the Save dialog box, where you can edit the image again. (See Chapter 6 for an example of this in action.) Saving in Photoshop Format The best way to save a Photoshop file is to save it as a Photoshop (PSD) file. To save an image as a PSD file, click File⇒Save As. You see the Open dialog box, which usually opens with the file defaulted to open as a PSD. Click OK to return to the Open dialog box and then click OK again to save the file. If you don’t save the file as a PSD, when you reopen the file in the future, you must open it as a PSD. The Photoshop file, by its nature, is saved in layers, so you can revisit and edit layers in an image file that you’ve saved as a PSD. Saving in the JPEG File Format JPEG files are the most

Category Archives: Uncategorized On the other hand, if you are a fan of the pinhole phenomenon, this article is for you. Not only the micro pinhole, but also the macro pinhole and how they can be used, it will be enough to make you fall in love with this artistic form. The micro pinhole (diameter of the hole is less than 1 μm, the smallest fiber we can see with the naked eye) is available in the form of camera obscura (used in photography and videography) and other types of pinhole cameras. This world-famous phenomenon combines, according to their creators, the most wonderful and useful artistic effects in photography. The pinhole camera is often used for artistic purposes: show artistic performances, secret shows or for creating photos of real things. Let’s see what types of pinholes are available! The Ugly Duckling This is a micro pinhole that was created by the American artist Adam Steltzner. This pinhole is 100 times smaller than the size of a pinhole that you find in a regular camera. Not only the “ugly duckling”, but also the monsters, gorillas and other animals that will amaze you with this pinhole. The pinhole was photographed from glass that Steltzner cut with a microscope. The art director here, Charles Singleton, says that if you cannot find a good glass with a micro hole, you can create your own by searching for a small part that was put into the bottom of a glass that you can easily get for free. Contact Light This pinhole is the most commonly used by artists and photographers. An idea of how it was created, can be found here. Credit: Adam Steltzner The pinhole, manufactured by Professor Frank Heigl and Dr. George Holcomb, works in several different ways. The traditional way of pinholes is the construction of a plastic frame, just put it into a plastic film, fit in a hole that would be the size of a regular pinhole of a regular camera, put the film into the camera, use the film to make a photo and that’s it. Secondly, you can also use the pinholes to create a light box. The third way is the most interesting. The pinhole used in this experiment is placed in the center of the semi-transparent red cell. 11th December The Virgin Diaries By Holly Fox, born in 1984 I have always been a dreamer. I can remember lying in bed at night and thinking of magical things that would happen the next day. I did this throughout my childhood and teenage years. However, as I grew older, life became a little more real. I realised that dreams were not really a realistic way of achieving them and at least the older I got, I began to doubt if they were even possible. I still believed, though, but, like many of us, had put thoughts of great things on hold for the time being. All changed, however, when an alien landed in my bedroom one afternoon and instructed me to continue to dream for it. I couldn’t help feeling a little sceptical. So, I didn’t. However, months later I found myself, in the middle of the night, still thinking. This time, though, the thoughts weren’t about fairies, unicorns, or dragons. They were about life, death, love and God, and so for the first time since I could remember, I was thinking about creating something that would shape a future. I sat in my bedroom that night and started to write down what I had been thinking. I had planned to send it off to an American magazine and get paid for it. However, when I read the first line I couldn’t stop there. So began The Virgin Diaries, written over a couple of months and almost entirely dictated. The Virgin Diaries is a story about teenaged girls in a small town in Missouri whose dreams of stardom are crushed by their parents’ disapproval. It is also a story about a young man who tries to change the lives of two people whose lives are being held in a vice grip; a man who is conned by a drug addict and a girl who meets a stranger in the street and decides to bring him home. Some may say that it isn’t real. Well, the hard copy is real enough, I was there and it is all true. However, it is only when you read the version that will be published in The Virgin Diaries by Harper Collins UK and the US that it will be in a whole new light. You won’t just read about celebrity teens, bad boyfriends, hard drugs and unhappy marriages either. You will also meet three real people, living in Missouri,
